The Rockefeller University Council
Founded in 1973, The Rockefeller University Council is an international advisory group of distinguished individuals committed to the advancement of science for the benefit of humankind. Members serve as ambassadors for the University, increasing awareness of Rockefeller’s scientific and educational mission while providing support for biomedical research. Through their philanthropic commitment and advocacy, Council members help provide the resources that enable the University to nurture innovative ideas, train the world’s most outstanding young investigators, and launch new initiatives.
Council sponsored programs feature leading Rockefeller scientists and distinguished guest speakers addressing a wide range of topics, from the latest scientific breakthroughs to issues of economic and public policy.
Council Membership is by invitation. For further information, please contact Lisa Kressbach, Senior Director of The Rockefeller University Council Initiative, at (212) 327-8961 or ruc@rockefeller.edu.
